Sayeeda Warsi visits ancestral home, vows good relations

Britain's ruling Conservative party Chairwoman, Sayeeda Warsi, vowed to establish a good relationship between the UK and her ancestral country Pakistan.

Warsi was addressing a public gathering in Gujjar Khan on Sunday, which is the native town of her parents.

She said that the Britain will provide seven billion rupees in aid to Pakistan.

During her address, Warsi talked about several qualities of the United Kingdom and said that Pakistanis can also achieve such qualities through hard work and honesty.

She said that the Pakistanis, instead of fleeing their country, should work for its development.

Speaking on the occasion, British High Commissioner to Pakistan Adam Thomson said that his country is committed to the people of Pakistan.
