Kidnapping: Cops arrest accused, working to recover hostage

MULTAN: Police officials have arrested the accused who abducted a college student a week ago. However, police officials told reporters that raids are still being conducted for the girl’s recovery. According to police officials, Multan Shamsabad area second-year student Gul Sanuber was abducted by Zaheer Abbas, Shehnaz and Aurangzeb over a week ago. Purani Kotwali police had registered a case against the accused and the local court had declared them to be proclaimed offenders.

The police raided a locality in Mian Channu on Sunday morning and arrested five people including two women. After questioning the accused, police are now conducting raids for recovery of the victim.
