Golf: McIlroy looks to maintain good form

SHANGHAI: World number three Rory McIlroy is hoping that his victory at the Shanghai Masters will give him confidence heading into the HSBC Champions event. McIlroy is looking to close the gap on world number one Luke Donald’s £1.15 million lead in the year-end Race to Dubai and ultimately to move up the world rankings. “I want to get closer to Luke,” said McIlroy. “A big week could put me in the frame to win the Race to Dubai.”
