Trading corporation: New chairman takes charge

Syed Tahir Raza Naqvi has taken charge as chairman of the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP)

KARACHI: Syed Tahir Raza Naqvi, a BS-21 officer of the District Management Group, has taken charge as chairman of the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP). According to a press release issued by the TCP, Naqvi brings with him vast knowledge and experience of handling trade, commercial, economic, administrative, financial and accounting matters. He joined government service in 1983 and served on various important positions in federal and provincial governments including assignments like secretary to the Government of Punjab for industries, commerce and investment and food departments and member (administration) Federal Board of Revenue. He was also posted as commercial counsellor, Embassy of Pakistan, Bangkok.
