Fistball: Punjab win inaugural fistball event

Punjab defeated Gilgit-Baltistan 3-0 in the final of the inaugural Inter-Province Fistball Championship.

LAHORE: Punjab defeated Gilgit-Baltistan 3-0 in the final of the inaugural Inter-Province Fistball Championship at the Punjab Stadium in Lahore, decimating their opponents in a convincing display that saw them winning 11-6, 11-8, 11-6. In the semi-finals, Punjab got the better of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 2-1 and Gilgit-Baltistan beat Sindh 2-0. A total of six teams participated in the event’s first edition, including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and Islamabad.
