ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani left for Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to attend the funeral of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz. Prince Sultan passed away in New York on Saturday at the age of 80 after an unspecified illness. He had served as the Saudi defence minister since 1962 and is credited with modernising the Kingdom’s armed forces.
