KARACHI:

The provincial government has decided on a “code of conduct” for the collection of animal hides on Eidul Azha.

The government plans to ban the use of loudspeakers and show of legal and illegal weapons.

Informing the police about transferring hides from one area to another will be mandatory. Welfare organisations will have to acquire permission to collect them from the city government and interior ministry. The government will seize the hides of people who violate the code of conduct.
