Four alleged criminals were arrested in separate raids on Monday.
The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) claimed to have caught a member of a kidnapping gang, Arsalan, alias Mannu. He was arrested after a brief encounter on Block-16 of Federal B Area after a tip-off. He managed to escape custody of the SIU and the Anti-Violent Crime Cell twice.
In another raid, the Crime Investigation Department nabbed a suspected target killer. Separately, an alleged street criminal, Abid Hussain, was apprehended by the Defence police and a TT pistol was seized.
