Copping out: CPO officially reprimands 15 officials

Accused officials reprimanded on charges of negligence and delaying investigations.

FAISALABAD: City police officer (CPO), Muhammad Tahir Rae has issued different punishments to 15 police officials on Saturday evening. The accused officials include six inspectors, one superintendent (SI), two assistant superintendents (ASIs) and six constables on the charges of negligence and delaying investigations. According to police officials, the CPO restored services of seven police inspectors and awarded them the punishment of censure. The six accused inspectors were fined Rs5,000 each.
