
Tournament leaders KRL continued their domination of the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) as they overcame PAF 2-1 at the Municipal Ground in Rawalpindi, courtesy of a brace by Mohammad Asif. Asif scored the opener in the 22nd minute before adding another goal 12 minutes later.
Mohammad Amir pulled a goal back for PAF three minutes before the half-time whistle but his side failed to score an equaliser in the second half. In the other match of the day held at the Sadiq Shaheed Stadium in Quetta, KESC surpassed Baloch FC 1-0 to secure full points with Abdul Rehman scoring the decisive goal in the seventh minute of the match.
