Football: Courtois casts doubt over Cech’s fitness

LONDON: Petr Cech’s long-term future at Chelsea has been cast into doubt by the teenage keeper who many feel has been brought in to succeed him. Thibaut Courtois joined Chelsea from Genk in the summer. Courtois claims he has been told the Blues have doubts about Cech’s long-term fitness. “He has problems with his knees and back,” said Courtois. “Chelsea’s goal-keeping coach told me he doesn’t know how much time Cech has left at the top.”
