MIRPUR: The ruling Pakistan People Party (PPP) staged a protest in Muzaffarabad against the “undemocratic and unconstitutional demands” of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

PPP- Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) declared that the people of AJK along with all democratic forces will denounce efforts to “derail” democracy in the country.

Addressing the rally in front of the Central Press Club, AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed said that Pakistan had come out of several crises due to the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari. Majeed termed PML-N’s recent actions a conspiracy not only against the PPP-led coalition government but against the integrity and stability of Pakistan.
