Talking to local officials of Vehari and Multan, he blamed journalists of being a part of foreign intelligence agencies agenda and furthering propaganda against jihad and defense of Pakistan.
Jihad is an article of faith in Islam which means to struggle and is generally translated as holy war binding upon all Muslims.
Saeed warned journalists to be aware of the consequences of becoming tools in foreign hands. He directly blamed journalists of promoting hatred against jihad in Pakistan.
He said that jihad is the only way for the survival of Pakistan.
He appreciated his organisation’s loyalty towards jihad. He also said that the government has put no check on the foreign intelligence agencies who are continuously trying to destroy Jamatud Dawa.
“In spite of all the pressure, we will never lose heart and will continue to defend and help Muslims all over the world specially the people of Pakistan,” Saeed said.
Jamatud Dawa has been working to strengthen its organisation in southern Punjab and to gather students support. It has organized more than 120 discussions in last two years on various issues in different districts of southern Punjab.

Dear! Islam is a religion of peace and history is the proof of that.As for as your concern about jamaat ud dawa literature ,there is no wrong explanation .The literature of Jamaat ud Dawa is based on Quraan an Sunnah.Jamaat ud Dawa has also prove it in the recently flood relief activities in Sindh where many hindus are enjoying relief facilities in the camps of jamaat ud dawaa.If there is doubt please you can check the international media reports.And it is interested to describe that when UN banned jamaat ud Dawaa ,first demonstration against that was from the Christians and Hindus community.

Actually India did not attack Pakistan in 1971, it was Pakistan that atacked India.
Incidentally India (and Pakistan) did get nuclear weapons in 19998 and Pakistan still attacked India in 1999 in Kargill. But India is a responsible nuclear power and it has a policy of No first use of nuclear weapons. So even though Pakistan attacked India, India did not consider using the nuclear option. India fought back with conventional weapons and defeated Pakistan.

I guess the educational institutes are the Wahabi madarsas that spew hate and create jihadis.. The hospital for the sick and needy is to treat the jihadis when they get injured as part of the jihad.
This is open threat to Journalist Community. Unfortunately state and its machinery has failed to check these elements who translate the word Jihad into war which kills humans. Why don't we use Jihad for other purpose like: Education, against corruption, spreading moral behaviors, good relationships with different communities in our own country, against terrorists and suicide bombers, against spreading hate and hate materials, poking noses in other countries affairs etc etc etc ..... hurling threats is neither good for our country nor good for the reputation of those including his own party which considers itself as religious.

I am not a Muslim, so I have heard a couple of inconsistent things. So perhapssomeone can clarify: 1. Islam is a religion of peace. 2. Islam supports jihad (which according to Hafiz Saeed involves killing innocent non-Muslims).
So either statement 1 is true or statement 2 is true. Both statements cannot be true. Can you please state which of the 2 statements is true?
Many clean shaven/non-hijab wearing people who like to party, wear designer clothes and enjoy western lifestyle have the same views and beliefs as jihadis like Hafiz saeed. As much as I hate his views, beliefs and actions, as a person I respect him more than any Musharraf/ Imran Khan/ Nawaz Sharif/ Bhutto. At least he honestly practices what he preaches!

No doubt ,Jihad is an article of faith in Islam.Unfortunately our Muslim nation and especially youth has forgotten it because of the propaganda against Islam .Therefore when there is talk about Jihad then we did not ready to accept it.If we are true Muslims then we should read Quran.There are many verses in the favour of Jihad.But we also should know about terrorism and Jihad.Hafiz Saeed is a true Muslim and Pakistani who believes that the base of Pakistan is Islam.He never favoured suicide attacks in Pakistan as well as in any other Muslim country and if anyone understand that he will save himself after refusing the Jihad and will get the benefits from any anti Jihad groups or country then he is lives in the world of dreams.So please understand himself as a Muslim and Hafiz Saeed's speeches are the light for us.
Hafiz Sayeed is responsible for killing of 160 innocent civilians including 30 Indian Muslims in Mumbai attack. He should have been put in jail but is roaming free, kind courtesy Pak govt. Mumbai carnage was part of his jihad against India. As per his beliefs he along with his organisation should have been honoured for this noble task and not condemned by the journalists. This shows his sick jihadi mind which is filled with hatred and violence only. Why cant this jihadi cross the LoC along with his criminals to liberate Kashmir, who are killed in dozens every month by the Indian security forces. A hot reception awaits for this top jihadi at LoC for the past three years but is he brave enough to cross ?
Now one can get a fair idea where all the Jihadis are coming from and who supplies them.
