A Blind Turn: Two killed, three injured

KOHISTAN: Two passengers were killed while three others critically injured when a jeep fell into a ravine in the jurisdiction near Harban Valley here on Monday evening. Police and eyewitnesses said that a Mansehra bound jeep from Gilgit fell into a ravine near Harban, as the driver lost control of the steering while taking a blind turn, killing two passengers on the spot and injuring three. The deceased were identified as Said Ahmad and Naik Muhammad while Abdul Ghani, Habibur Rehman and Badar Jameel were among the injured. Local rescuers shifted the bodies and the injured to Kohistan DHQ from where the injured were shifted to Ayub Medical College in Abbottabad.
