
A woman from Soomar Kandani village in Malir fought three armed men who tried to steal her animals by herself on Sunday evening.
According to the police, three armed men barged into the cattle pen of Muhammad Ayub Khaskheli when he was selling milk outside in nearby Jam Goth. When they tried to untie the animals, Ayub’s wife, took an iron bar and beat the men with it. The struggle continued for half an hour after which two of the men fled, while one man was injured.
The villagers rushed to the scene and took the man into custody. The thief was identified as Saad Sahib, son of Muhammad Khan Baloch, and was thrashed again before being handed over to the Memon Goth police.
Ayub Khaskheli lodged an FIR against three men, Saad Sahib, Shahzad and Rahim Khan.
