Drunk on Power: MPA’s son arrested for drinking

PML-N MPA Rana Shamim’s son was arrested by police while he was drunk and brawling with several villagers.

SIALKOT: An MPA’s son was arrested for drinking in public on Monday. According to eyewitnesses, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Rana Shamim’s son Rana Abdul Raheem was arrested by police while he was drunk and brawling with several villagers. Police officials said that they received complaints from locals in the area that the accused was wandering in the Cantt locality and firing shots in the air. “When we tried to stop him he threatened to shoot us, He was drunk so he might have done exactly that,” said a shop owner Majeed Gul. Raheem was arrested and police officials have field a case against him.
