MULTAN:
Eleven children of the Government Girls Primary School, Mattital, were shifted to Nishtar Hospital by Rescue 1122 officials on Sunday. The children were brought in when they began complaining of abdominal pain after eating bread donated by a local philanthropist on Monday morning. According to Rescue 1122, a local philanthropist distributed free loaves of bread to children outside a school. Eleven children, including eight girls and three boys, complained of severe stomach pain after eating the bread. The school administration called Rescue 1122, which rushed the children to Nishtar Hospital where they are being treated for a severe case of food poisoning. Hospital officials said that the condition of the children was now stable.
