Education: New colleges to be built in South Waziristan

Two cadet colleges would be established at a cost of Rs.2 billion to impart quality education to tribal students.

Political Agent of the South Waziristan Agency Muhammad Javed Marwat said here on Monday that two cadet colleges would be established at a cost of Rs.2 billion to impart quality education to tribal students.


Marwat said that South Waziristan is the only agency where establishment of two colleges is sanctioned, adding the aim is to provide high quality education.

He said that cadet colleges will be established at sub-division Wana and sub-division Spinkirigzai.

He said that to equip tribesmen with technical knowledge a technical institution will be established at Chagmalai which will produce technical manpower.
