Medical aid: 85,000 people treated for free

Treated at 110 medical camps set up by the Peoples Doctors Forum in flood-hit areas.

KARACHI: About 85,000 people were treated at 110 medical camps set up by the Peoples Doctors Forum in flood-hit areas, said a press note on Sunday. The camps are working in Golarchi, Matli, Jhudo, Umarkot, Zero Point Badin, Tando Allahyar, Jati Chowk Thatta, Tando Muhammad Khan, Shahpur Chakar, Kario Ghanwar, and all the union councils of Benazirabad, according to Dr Karim Khuwaja. He said that malaria, skin diseases and diarrhea were the most common complaints.

Great job by the doctors. Wish the government could commit more short-term and long-term relief.
