Cricket: Top South African official ousted

JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) President Mtutuzeli Nyoka was ousted for the second time in eight months when the board of directors passed a vote of no confidence at a special general meeting.

The decision  was the culmination of a battle which has raged for more than a year between Nyoka and Chief Executive Gerald Majola over bonuses paid to the latter. The ongoing controversy has made CSA the target of criticism and the organisation is without a sponsor for the current Twenty20 and One-Day International series against Australia, as well as for two major domestic competitions.
