Security check: ANP offices closed until further notice
The party will organise a meeting to decide if the offices should be opened or not.

All Awami National Party offices are still closed because of the security situation, said ANP spokesperson Qadir Khan on Friday. “The first phase of the inter-party ward elections which were supposed to take place from October 13 to 15 but were postponed to October 16 to October 18.”
The party will organise a meeting to decide if the offices should be opened or not. The second phase of the inter-party district elections will take place on November 5, the provincial level elections are set to start on November 5 and the central level party elections will take place on November 15. Khan said that there was a possibility that the elections might be postponed because of security threats.
The Rangers deployed an armed vehicle outside ANP Sindh leader Shahi Syed’s house on Thursday. Sindh Chief Secretary called Shahi Syed in Dubai and told him about the situation in the city. The ANP leader is now in Peshawar.
