Express 24/7 correspondent Muhammad Kazim reported that the collapse occurred as a result of an explosion in the mine, which is located about 40 kilometres from Quetta.
Initial reports suggest that the explosion could have been caused by the accumulation of gas or air in the mine.
Rescue efforts are currently underway and the injured are being shifted to local hospitals.
More than 40 miners were killed in a mining accident in March, 2011, after a coalmine caved in due to explosions caused by accumulation of methane gas in Sorange area, also located about 40 kilometres from Quetta.
There are more than 40,000 coalminers working in more than 200 coalmines in Balochistan.

It looks to me as a CIA-RAW-Mossad conspiracy to harm Pakistan. We should investigate it.
May their souls rest in peace. Govt should look into the matter seriously and improve the technology to avoid such accidents in future.
