In Punjab, 290 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, whereas, 270 cases were reported from Lahore.

The total number of patients with dengue has now crossed 16,000 in Punjab while more than 13,700 patients belong to Lahore.
Currently, 1,454 patients are under treatment in different hospitals of Lahore.
A 20-member team of Indonesian doctors left today after training doctors for the treatment of dengue.
CM Punjab presides meeting regarding dengue’s prevention
Chief Minister Punjab said that a comprehensive campaign is being implemented to combat dengue while he is seeking people’s cooperation to make this drive successful.

While presiding a meeting regarding dengue’s prevention in Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif urged chairmen of the town committees to visit government hospitals on regular basis and submit reports.
He instructed the government institutions to maintain cleanliness and fumigate their premises on regular basis.
The chief minister appreciated the efforts of the teams who were monitoring tyre shops.
