Winter is Coming: Westerly winds to change weather

ISLAMABAD: The weather in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad is expected to change after October 22 with westerly winds hitting many parts of the country offsetting summer temperatures in the region before winter settles in. However, dry weather will continue to prevail in many parts of the country, said an official of the Pakistan Meteorological Department here on Wednesday. He added that isolated rain may occur in some parts of the twin cities within the next 24 hours. The official stated that both cities will receive no heavy rainfall next week and the impending westerly winds will change the current temperature and atmosphere.
