Child Rape: Man sentenced to 24 years

Man raped 4-year-old Shiza last year after kidnapping her from a department store where the child was buying sweets.

KASUR: District and Sessions judge Ch Humayun Imtiaz sentenced a man to 24 years rigorous imprisonment for raping a minor girl. According to the prosecution, Kot Radhakishan resident Muhammad Ilyas had raped 4-year-old Shiza last year after kidnapping her from a department store where the child was buying sweets. Ilyas was sentenced to 24 years and was fined Rs200,000. The court announced that Ilyas would undergo an additional sentence if he failed to pay the fine.
