An accountability court on Friday extended the judicial remand of three suspects in three separate cases for two weeks and directed the National Accountability Bureau to file references against them at the next hearings.
Muhammad Adnan, who is accused of posing as a policeman to draw a salary from the Accountant General’s Office, was remanded in judicial custody till October 21.
Former Hajj director Major (r) Rao Shakeel Ahmad, who is accused of piling up assets illegally, was also remanded till October 21.
Sheikh Afzal, who was also remanded till October 21, is accused of defaulting on a Rs33.3 million NIB Bank loan.
