The Pakistan Academy of Sciences (PAS), Islamabad, on Tuesday awarded a gold medal to Government College University Lahore vice chancellor Prof Dr Khaleequr Rahman in recognition of his services in the field of Physics.
The PAS every year selects an academic in each natural science discipline and reward them for their work in the field. Prof Khaleeq has published over 100 research articles in international journals. He has been awarded the highest presidential award “Aizaz-i-Kamal” for his service in the education sector.
