Protect the judge (II)

LAHORE: The judge who delivered a guilty verdict in Mumtaz Qadri’s case, for his murder of Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer, must be accorded state protection. Of course, given what happened to Mr Taseer, one can never be sure of the judge’s safety. Perhaps, the only refuge that the brave judge will now find will be in a foreign country. I wouldn’t be too surprised if we read one day that the judge was granted asylum in a European country.
