Football: HBL fight back to beat KPT

KARACHI: HBL defeated KPT 3-2 in a Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) fixture yesterday after falling behind early on. KPT’s Zafar Majeed scored the opening goal in the 24th minute while Mohammad Aamir doubled the score in the 48th minute. But HBL fought back courtesy Khayal Mohammad, who scored two goals in the 58th and 64th minute, while Zakir Lashari sealed the victory in the 67th minute. Meanwhile Pakistan Army crushed PMC Athletico 2-0 in Faisalabad, with Ansar Abbas scoring a brace of goals.
