Mother found dead, two little daughters missing
.

The body of a 30-year-old woman was recovered from a pipeline of the Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) in Dori Goth, Damba Goth, along Superhighway on Friday, two days after she went missing along with her two young daughters from the Memon Goth area.
The woman, identified as Haseena, wife of Qadir Bakhsh, was reported missing along with her four-year-old daughter Bakhtawar and 15-month-old daughter Faizila. Police have taken her husband into custody amid suspicions raised by the woman's family, while rescue teams continue searching for the missing children.
According to police, the body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for legal formalities and a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
PS Malir Cantonment SHO Agha Abdul Rashid said Haseena lived near Al-Jannat Farmhouse in the jurisdiction of Memon Goth police station. Her husband worked at a nearby factory.
He said the woman's father and brother had lodged an application with Memon Goth police after she went missing, expressing suspicion that Qadir Bakhsh had allegedly killed her and the children following a domestic dispute before disposing of their bodies.
The family subsequently apprehended Qadir Bakhsh and handed him over to Memon Goth police, who took him into custody for questioning.
PS Memon Goth SHO Ayub Mirani said Qadir Bakhsh had approached the police station two days earlier, reporting that he had quarrelled with his wife and physically assaulted her. He claimed that Haseena had subsequently left home with their two daughters in anger and that he had been unable to trace them.
The husband had told police that he suspected his wife might have returned to her ancestral village. Following this information, her father and brother travelled to Karachi on Friday, while police also took the husband into custody.
