Taylor Swift reveals childhood habit her husband Travis Kelce has to tolerate
Taylor Swift shares long-running inside joke she still enjoys with childhood friend Abigail Anderson

Taylor Swift has revealed that she still shares an unusual childhood tradition with her best friend, Abigail Anderson Berard, more than two decades after they first met, and it is something their husbands have learnt to tolerate.
The singer discussed the habit during a Toy Story 5 screening and question-and-answer session in New York City on Sunday, November 1.
Speaking alongside filmmaker Andrew Stanton, Swift explained how the film's portrayal of friendship reminded her of her longstanding relationship with Abigail.
The pair met when Swift moved to Nashville at the age of 14 and started at a new school. They soon discovered a shared love of impersonating characters from the 2004 comedy Napoleon Dynamite.
Their running joke has continued into adulthood, with the two still speaking to each other in voices from the film.
"We still do this," Taylor admitted. "It's something our husbands have to put up with."
The comment was also a reference to Swift's husband, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce. Abigail married Charles Berard in 2022.
Their friendship has previously influenced Swift's music. Abigail inspired the singer's 2008 song "Fifteen", from her album Fearless, which reflects on the experiences of starting high school. She also appeared in the track's music video.
Abigail has remained part of Swift's life as her career has developed, accompanying her to the 2015 Grammy Awards and appearing in the 2020 Netflix documentary Miss Americana. Swift also celebrated when her friend welcomed her first child in 2024.
Swift attended Sunday's event to discuss Toy Story 5, for which she co-wrote and produced the song "I Knew It, I Knew You" with Jack Antonoff. The track was inspired by Jessie, the cowgirl character introduced in Toy Story 2.
Reflecting on the film's friendship themes, Swift said, "That hit me so hard watching the film."
