Actress Margaret Qualley and musician Jack Antonoff have reportedly filed for divorce, three months after news of their separation became public.

According to a source cited by People, the former couple have jointly submitted divorce papers and are pursuing an uncontested divorce. The insider described the decision as mutual, saying both remain deeply fond of one another despite ending their romantic relationship.

“They share a deep affinity and love for one another, and though their romantic partnership is ending, they will absolutely be lifelong friends,” the source said.

Reports of Qualley and Antonoff’s separation first emerged in July, after the couple had been married for three years.

At the time, Qualley’s representative addressed speculation surrounding the breakup, rejecting claims of trust issues or infidelity. The representative stressed that the relationship had been built on mutual respect and partnership, adding that the pair continued to care deeply for one another.

The representative also urged the public to respect their privacy, saying people commenting on the marriage were not necessarily close to the couple.

Meanwhile, Antonoff recently discussed performing songs inspired by his relationship with Qualley following their split. In an interview with The Guardian, the musician said he had considered changing his setlist but ultimately decided to continue performing the songs as written.

He explained that being honest with his audience about his feelings was part of his relationship with them. Antonoff also described the experience of sharing the music with listeners as beautiful, despite the sadness surrounding the songs.

The musician said he did not want to rewrite the past, adding that he would rather experience something publicly than escape it privately.

Neither Qualley nor Antonoff has publicly commented on the reported divorce filing.
