Singer Lauren Bennett, best known for featuring on LMFAO’s hit song "Party Rock Anthem", died by suicide, according to the findings of an inquest into her death, TMZ reported. She was 36.

New details about Bennett’s death, which occurred in July 2026, emerged on October 30. According to TMZ, her body was discovered by her husband, Kenny Wormald, and her father.

Bennett’s death was previously investigated by police in the United Kingdom, with authorities reportedly believing that she had taken her own life. The inquest has now confirmed the cause of death.

Following the singer’s passing, her father shared an emotional tribute on social media, revealing that she had experienced a severe reaction to a prescribed medication in the months before her death.

He also expressed disappointment with the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), alleging that his daughter had not received adequate care during a particularly difficult period.

Bennett rose to international recognition through her contribution to LMFAO’s 2011 chart-topping track "Party Rock Anthem". The song became a major global hit and featured her vocals alongside the electronic dance music duo.

She was also a member of the girl group G.R.L., which released music during the 2010s.

Her death prompted tributes from those remembering her contribution to the music industry. The latest findings provide further details about the circumstances surrounding the singer’s passing, following the investigation earlier this year.

Bennett’s death has also renewed attention on her father’s concerns about the medical treatment she received before her passing.
