Aima Baig revisits ‘Sajna Door’ in heartfelt tribute to fans
Singer shares spontaneous rendition of the 'Teefa in Trouble' track and promises a live singalong with fans

Singer Aima Baig has revisited her much-loved song Sajna Door, sharing a spontaneous rendition on Instagram to thank fans for keeping the track popular years after its release.
In her caption, Baig explained that she wanted to show her appreciation to listeners who had continued to keep the song trending. With no instrument immediately available, she decided to record a short version and share it with her followers instead.
“Since I couldn’t think of any other way to thank those who made this track trending even after years, and had no immediate access to an instrument atm - thought it be nice to share this version of Sajna Door,” she wrote.
Describing the recording as a spontaneous musical moment, the singer added, “A quick and short video. Why not”.
Baig also hinted at a possible live session, promising to go live soon so she and her fans could sing the song together. She encouraged her followers to enjoy the rendition and added a playful apology for the metronome audible in the recording. “P.s excuse the metronome. iykyk,” she added.
Originally released as part of the soundtrack for the 2018 Pakistani romantic action-comedy Teefa in Trouble, Sajna Door features vocals by Baig and singer-songwriter Ali Zafar.
The song stood out for its mellow romantic sound and blend of Urdu, Punjabi and English lyrics. Its music video, directed by Ahsan Rahim, featured Zafar and Maya Ali in a dreamy romantic sequence, including scenes of the on-screen couple dancing on water.
With her latest rendition, Baig has brought the song back into the spotlight while acknowledging the listeners who have continued to embrace it. Her promise to go live and sing along with fans has also given them something to look forward to.
Meanwhile, the singer is also rumoured to be preparing her debut album, Guriya, which is said to be a tribute to her late mother.
