Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause and Australian musician G Flip are separating after four years together, but the former couple will not need to go through a legal divorce because their marriage was never officially registered.

According to sources cited by TMZ, Stause and G Flip, who celebrated their relationship through multiple wedding ceremonies, never legally formalised their union despite publicly exchanging vows.

The couple first made headlines in May 2023 when Stause shared photographs from their Las Vegas wedding ceremony. Although the celebration marked an important moment in their relationship, reports at the time indicated that the marriage was not legally binding. Sources said the couple intended to make their union official later, but that never happened.

Stause and G Flip subsequently celebrated their relationship with another wedding ceremony and a vow renewal. However, neither event resulted in a legally recognised marriage, according to the report.

The news comes after Stause announced their separation on Monday, October 26. In her statement, the reality television star said the pair had agreed to approach their breakup with love and respect.

Although Stause publicly shared the news, sources later told TMZ that G Flip had initiated the decision to end their four-year relationship.

Stause has acknowledged that she still loves the musician and admitted feeling “a little bit like a failure” following the breakup. G Flip, meanwhile, expressed appreciation for the memories they shared during their time together.

The couple's relationship attracted considerable attention from fans, particularly after their wedding celebrations and public displays of affection. Their separation marks the end of a relationship that unfolded partly in the public eye.

Despite the emotional challenges surrounding their split, the absence of a legally registered marriage means they will not need to pursue formal divorce proceedings. Neither has publicly indicated any further legal steps related to their separation.
