Meghan Markle to co-host 'Junior MasterChef Australia' in 2027
Meghan Markle will join Poh Ling Yeow as special guest co-host on 'Junior MasterChef Australia' in 2027

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has been confirmed as a special guest co-host for the 2027 season of Junior MasterChef Australia, joining presenter and chef Poh Ling Yeow, according to Australian broadcaster Channel 10.
Meghan said she was looking forward to appearing on the cooking competition after serving as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia last year.
According to a statement from Paramount ANZ, her appearance attracted the programme’s largest Sunday audience since 2023.
“I love cooking with my own kids, so seeing what these young stars create in the kitchen is going to be a lot of fun,” Meghan said in a statement.
The announcement follows Meghan and Prince Harry’s four-day visit to Australia in April. Her appearance on MasterChef Australia was revealed during the trip after she had spent part of the day away from public engagements filming an episode.
It remains unclear whether Meghan will be paid for her role on Junior MasterChef Australia.
The announcement comes as Meghan faces renewed media scrutiny over allegations against her father, Thomas Markle, involving child sexual abuse. He denies the allegations and has described them as “lies” intended to damage his reputation. Meghan reportedly ended contact with her father last year.
Meghan has pursued several media and business projects since she and Harry stepped back from their royal duties in 2020 and settled in California.
