RAWALPINDI:

Pirwadhai police in Rawalpindi have safely recovered a Sikh girl who was abducted from Faisalabad and arrested the suspect. Both were handed over to Faisalabad police.

According to police, Manmeet Kaur, a widow of Charan Singh and a resident of Barkatpura, Faisalabad, lodged a case with Batala Colony police on October 18. She stated that her 17-year-old daughter had left home to dispose of garbage on October 17 but did not return. She could not be found despite a search.

A few days earlier, Roheel Masih, a resident of Christian Town, had visited the house and threatened to abduct her daughter, the complainant said. He subsequently took advantage of an opportunity to lure and abduct the girl.
