Law Roach explains why Keke Palmer ended their styling partnership
Law Roach shares his side of story behind Keke Palmer’s decision to end their styling partnership

Law Roach has explained why Keke Palmer ended their professional styling relationship, revealing that disagreements over how to dress the actor during her pregnancy contributed to the difficulties.
Roach, known for styling Zendaya, said Palmer’s decision to keep her pregnancy private affected the outfits he could create for her.
He explained that he wanted to embrace her baby bump through fashion, while Palmer preferred clothing that concealed it until she was ready to announce the news publicly.
Reflecting on their split, Roach described the decision as a professional one and acknowledged that he had struggled to deliver the looks Palmer wanted.
“It was a business decision that she should have made, i couldn’t get the looks right, i couldn’t get the energy right and it was like she made a business decision to fire me,” he said.
Roach also recalled a conversation in which Palmer explained why she felt the partnership was no longer working.
“I love what she said, she called me she said ‘you may be the best artist in the world but you are not the best stylist for me’,” he added.
According to Roach, Palmer’s wish to keep her pregnancy private created a creative difference between them. While he was excited about the possibility of styling maternity looks and developing fashion concepts around her changing silhouette, she did not want her pregnancy revealed before she chose to share the news.
“She was pregnant and she was lying about being pregnant and this lady had me putting her in all these clothes hiding this baby bump,” Roach said, explaining that he wanted to style the bump rather than conceal it.
He acknowledged, however, that the decision about when to announce the pregnancy belonged to Palmer.
