Prince Harry wants to reconcile with King Charles and Prince William despite ongoing royal family tensions worldwide

Prince Harry has expressed his desire to repair his strained relationships with King Charles III and Prince William, saying reconciliation is important despite continued tensions within the British royal family.

The Duke of Sussex discussed his family relationships in an interview with GQ, published on October 20, after being asked whether he was grieving the complicated relationships he shares with his father and elder brother.

“Some people don't want it to work out. I want it to work out. With everything else that's going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile -- that's the key point,” Harry said.

The prince also reflected on how family disagreements affect people beyond the royal household. He suggested that sharing his experiences could encourage others dealing with similar difficulties to work towards resolving their own family conflicts.

“People maybe look at us and go, 'How are you gonna work it out? Maybe that will help me work my stuff out,'” he added.

Harry emphasised that there was already enough conflict in the world and in people's personal lives, making it important to address family disputes whenever possible.

His relationship with the royal family has faced significant challenges since he stepped back from royal duties and moved to California with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

According to TMZ, Harry and his family have recently spent time with King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla. However, his relationship with Prince William, Kate Middleton and other members of the royal family reportedly remains strained.

Harry's latest comments indicate that he remains open to reconciliation, although it is unclear whether his remarks will lead to renewed efforts to resolve the longstanding disagreements.
