The Punjab Children Complaint Office Ombudsman has arranged a special session to deliberate issues related to children and gather suggestions on how to resolve these concerns.

A large number of representatives of non-governmental organisations, state departments including health, social welfare, police, education and others participated in the special debate on Thursday.

Children Complaint Ombudsman officer Ehsan Ghani informed the participants about the complaint office, its objectives and performance.

He said that those concerned could register their complaints by email, post or message service.

“We are trying to ensure that there is a forum to address the needs of children,” he said. Secretary Ombudsman Punjab Farkhanda Wasim Afzal said that she and her team was monitoring complaints on a daily basis. So far, the complaint cell has received 361 applications and 167 complaints have already been addressed, while 194 are currently being investigated.  The complaint office team also visited different schools to create awareness among children.

josie | 12 years ago | Reply My daughter was at work with me until she started walking. Not in HOME either. At my WORK. i would lay a playmat down for her to roll around on. I got her a bit jeep as she got older to cruise around the office in. And also a jumperoo and swing. It figured out fine. I’d say if your at a desk… it would be NO problem having himthere with you. you can surprisingly do alot while feeding… on a computer. And then during naptimes… save your more challenging stuff for then. It can compute. but as she started walking it was harder to monitor what all she was getting into… therefore, she now goes to daycare.
