ISLAMABAD:

The Government of Pakistan alongside the Ministry of National Heritage & Culture Division and the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) warmly welcomed a high-level cultural delegation from Bangladesh upon its arrival in Pakistan for a series of cultural exchange programmes scheduled to take place during the current week.

The delegation was received at the Islamabad International Airport on October 16 by PNCA Director General Muhammad Ayoub Jamal, along with senior officers of the Ministry of National Heritage & Culture Division.

The visiting delegation comprises senior officials from Bangladesh's Ministry of Cultural Affairs, including an Additional Secretary and a Deputy Secretary, as well as musicians, performing artists, cultural practitioners and other distinguished members representing Bangladesh's rich artistic and cultural heritage.

The upcoming cultural exchange programmes will provide a valuable platform for the artists and cultural representatives from both countries to showcase their respective artistic traditions, share creative experiences and explore opportunities for sustained cultural collaboration. The programmes are expected to promote mutual understanding, encourage artistic dialogue and strengthen institutional linkages between the cultural communities of Pakistan and Bangladesh.
