Xochitl Gomez, Madeleine McGraw and Jack Champion join 'Bad Influence', a YA horror film about a deadly road trip

Xochitl Gomez, Madeleine McGraw and Jack Champion have joined the cast of Bad Influence, an upcoming young adult horror film directed by Jason Perlman, Deadline reported exclusively.
The film, written by Brandon Cohen, is described as a modern-day take on Thelma & Louise driven by female rage. The story follows Isabelle, played by McGraw, and Kira, portrayed by Gomez, as they embark on a road trip home for spring break. Their journey takes a dangerous turn when they pick up a mysterious hitchhiker named Liam, who is not what he initially appears to be.
The casting brings together three actors known for their work in major film and television franchises. Gomez gained recognition for playing America Chavez in Marvel's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. She has also appeared in Netflix's The Baby-Sitters Club and won Season 32 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Her upcoming projects include Warner Bros.' animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat.
McGraw recently reprised her role as Gwen Blake in The Black Phone 2. Her previous credits include American Sniper, Cars 3, Ant-Man and the Wasp and Toy Story 4.
Champion is known for playing Spider in the Avatar franchise and appearing in Scream VI. He is also set to star in the Netflix comedy Don't Say Good Luck, scheduled to premiere on August 14.
Bad Influence is produced by Debbie Liebling, Joel David Moore and Zachary Burgess. Moore and Liebling previously worked together on the comedies Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story and Grandma's Boy. Several executive producers are also attached to the project.
Capture is handling sales for the YA horror film. Further details about its release date and distribution have not been announced.
