Thunderstorms, rain likely in upcountry

ISLAMABAD:

Partly cloudy weather is expected in the upper parts of the country during the next 24 hours, with rain, wind and thunderstorms likely in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, and upper and central Punjab.

Isolated hailstorms are also likely, while other parts of the country are expected to remain dry.

Morning temperatures in major cities were recorded at 20°C in Islamabad, 22°C in Lahore, 28°C in Karachi, 21°C in Peshawar, 17°C in Quetta and Muzaffarabad, 14°C in Gilgit and 11°C in Murree.

Partly cloudy weather is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag and Shopian.
