Florence Pugh and Finn Cole have made their red carpet debut as a couple, stepping out together at the world premiere of In the Shadows in London on October 9.
The actors attended the screening at Vue West End during the 70th BFI London Film Festival, where Pugh joined Cole to support his latest film. Their appearance marked a significant public moment for the pair, who have kept much of their relationship private.
Pugh, 30, wore a lavender corseted gown from Wiederhoeft’s Spring 2027 collection. Styled by Rebecca Corbin Murray, the outfit featured a sparkling skirt and embellished bodice. She completed the look with a silver statement necklace, matching earrings and black nail polish, while wearing her hair in loose waves.
Cole, also 30, chose a black suit paired with a blue striped shirt and black tie for the premiere.

In the Shadows draws inspiration from the life of Ramla Ali, the British Somali boxer recognised as Britain’s first female Muslim boxing champion. Cole stars in the film alongside Jasmine Jobson, who portrays Ali.
Pugh first revealed that she was dating someone new in an October 2024 interview with British Vogue. She later made the relationship public on Instagram in March 2026, sharing photographs of herself and Cole at an event in Milan, Italy.
In an October 2026 cover interview with Vanity Fair, Pugh spoke about maintaining boundaries around her private life while acknowledging the relationship.
“I don’t want to be a secret, but I also don’t want everything to be divulged,” she said. Pugh added that she felt “solid and safe and sturdy” in the relationship, describing that feeling as invaluable.
The actress has several projects in the pipeline, including Dune: Part Three and an adaptation of Matt Haig’s novel The Midnight Library.
