25 terrorist outfits operating in Afghanistan: Naqvi
Minister tells UN chief of serious threat to world peace from Afghan safe havens

ISLAMABAD:
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres visited the Ministry of Interior and met Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry.
The meeting focused on the global and regional situation as well as matters related to United Nations peace missions.
During the meeting, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan is fighting the global war against terrorism and continues to face security challenges. He stated that 25 terrorist organizations are currently operating in Afghanistan and pose a serious threat to peace around the world.
Naqvi said the international community needs to work together to address this threat. He emphasized that cooperation among countries is necessary to counter terrorism and maintain peace and stability.
The minister reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to United Nations peacekeeping missions and said the country will continue to play its role in these operations. He noted that Pakistani police officers and personnel are also serving in the United Nations Police and contributing to international peace efforts.
Naqvi said Pakistan has sacrificed 181 lives while participating in UN peace missions, reflecting the country's contribution to maintaining peace in different parts of the world.
