'Fallout' season 3 filming nears completion with May or June 2027 release window
Kyle MacLachlan says 'Fallout' season 3 has about month of filming left and could arrive in May or June 2027

Fallout season 3 is approaching the final stages of filming, with star Kyle MacLachlan suggesting the Prime Video series could return in May or June 2027.
MacLachlan, who plays Hank MacLean in the series, shared the production update while speaking with a fan at a signing for his new memoir. In a video shared on X, the actor said filming still had around a month remaining.
"We're still shooting away. We've got about a month or so to go," MacLachlan said.
He later discussed a potential release window, adding, "(and then) probably come out maybe May or June. Fingers crossed that it's soon."
MacLachlan did not specify a year when discussing the potential release period, but the production timeline would suggest a May or June 2027 premiere if filming concludes around November 2026.
Prime Video has not announced an official release date for Fallout season 3, meaning MacLachlan's comments do not represent a confirmed schedule from the streamer.
The third season will continue the story following the events of Fallout season 2. Prime Video renewed the series for a third season in May 2025, while principal photography reportedly began in July 2026.
MacLachlan is set to return alongside Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins and Aaron Moten. Annabel O'Hagan and Dave Register have also been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming season.
Aaron Paul joined the cast in May 2026, although his role has not yet been revealed. Emily Mortimer, Manny Jacinto and Thomasin McKenzie are also set to appear in recurring roles.
The first two seasons of Fallout are currently available to stream on Prime Video.
