Jason and Travis Kelce’s podcast makes 2027 Golden Globes shortlist

'New Heights' with Jason and Travis Kelce is among 30 podcasts shortlisted for 2027 Golden Globes

New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce has been included among 30 podcasts shortlisted for consideration at the 2027 Golden Globes.

The podcast joins Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend, Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang, and Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast on the list of eligible shows for the second Golden Globes award for Best Podcast.

The 2027 Golden Globes ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 10. The award was introduced this year, with Amy Poehler’s Good Hang winning the inaugural Best Podcast honour.

The 30 podcasts were selected using data from entertainment data and analytics company Luminate. The company assessed factors including audience reach and engagement, revenue and chart rankings, using direct data from podcast platforms.

Several podcasts that were eligible for last year’s award have qualified again this year. They include Call Her Daddy, Good Hang with Amy Poehler, The Mel Robbins Podcast and SmartLess.

Other podcasts on this year’s list include The Joe Rogan Experience, The Megyn Kelly Show and The Tucker Carlson Show.

The 30 podcasts will now have the opportunity to submit themselves for consideration. Golden Globes voters will then select the nominees for the 2027 award.

The final nominees will be announced after the submission and voting process.
