PMD forecasts dry, hot weather across country

ISLAMABAD:

The Met Office has forecast dry weather across most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, with hot conditions expected in the plains during the daytime.

The weather department recorded the minimum temperatures in major cities on Sunday morning - Islamabad 21°C, Lahore 24°C, Karachi 28°C, Peshawar 25°C, Quetta 16°C, Gilgit 11°C, Murree 14°C and Muzaffarabad 18°C. It predicted partly cloudy and dry weather in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Shopian and Baramula, while dry weather was expected in Pulwama and Anantnag.

The minimum temperatures recorded in the region were 12°C in Srinagar and Pulwama and 24°C in Jammu.
