ISLAMABAD:

Four suspects allegedly entered a house in Block F of Naval Anchorage, near the graveyard at 3.00am and held the resident family at gunpoint.

Police sources said that the robbers remained in the house for about 25 minutes, collecting a substantial amount of gold and cash. Afterwards, they reportedly left the house with ease.

The investigators said that from security cameras' footage, it was apparent that the robbers remained in the area for a considerable portion of the night, moving through the streets surrounding the house and climbing its walls.

They pointed out that the lack of streetlights means that criminals have the perfect cover for moving about the residential complex undetected. They also noted that manner in which the robbers navigated the streets in the dark shows that they knew the minutest of details about the area.
