Kai Cenat has become involved in a public dispute with Reggie, also known as Lil Rodney Son, after private messages between the pair were shared online amid disagreements over the Clover Boys group.
Reggie discussed his relationship with Cenat in videos posted in late September, saying he felt excluded from the group and no longer wanted to be associated with it.
He claimed Cenat had put him “on the shelf” despite recognising his potential.
Reggie initially said he had “no bad blood” towards Cenat and wished the group success. However, the situation escalated when he posted screenshots of private Instagram messages on September 29.
The messages showed Reggie asking to meet Cenat and speak to him “as a brother”.
He later attempted to contact Cenat on September 25, asking him to answer an important phone call and describing the situation as “like cry for help”.
The screenshots do not establish why Cenat did not respond to the later messages or whether circumstances prevented him from doing so.
Reggie also made other claims concerning members of the Clover Boys circle, including allegations about Cenat’s relationships with other creators.
According to reports, no evidence supporting some of those allegations had been made public, while Cenat had not directly addressed them.
The controversy also involved streamer RaKai after Reggie made an allegation concerning his childhood. RaKai rejected the claim, stating that he had never been “touched in any way growing up”.
Meanwhile, AMP member Fanum privately contacted Reggie and encouraged him to focus on his personal struggles.
